Using AI tools in the diagnosis of cancer is a practice that is becoming increasingly established because it is a very reliable procedure. But a still unmet need is the ability to accurately predict which tumors will respond to which therapy. This would enable personalized treatment strategies that maximize the potential for clinical benefit and minimize toxicity. A work in progress, explains Iman Osman (New York University Grossman School of Medicine, Director of the Interdisciplinary Melanoma Program at the NYU Langone’s Perlmutter Cancer Center), that we met at the Melanoma Bridge congress 2025 in Naples.
